The actives and the oils
Jojoba “oil” is pressed from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, native to the deserts of the south-western US and Mexico. Chemically it is a liquid wax, not a true oil, which makes it very stable.
Its make-up is closer to the skin’s own oils than most plant oils, so it softens without feeling heavy. It is common in lip products, oils and creams.

Questions
Many people with oily skin find it comfortable because it is light and doesn’t go rancid. As with any oil, patch-test first.
