Fragrance-free
22 pieces whose ingredient lists carry no fragrance (parfum), no flavouring (aroma), no essential oil and no scented flower water. Fragrance is the most common cause of allergic reactions to cosmetics, so if your skin reacts, start here. The 18 that do contain a scent are named below, with what it is.
What we count as fragrance: “Fragrance (Parfum)”, “Aroma (Flavor)”, essential oils such as lavender, and scented flower waters such as rose water. Plant extracts such as chamomile or calendula aren’t fragrance, and some of these pieces contain them.

Questions
That nothing was added to give the product a scent. On a list, that means no “fragrance” or “parfum”, and for us also no flavouring, essential oil or scented flower water. The product can still smell faintly of its other ingredients.
Not always. An “unscented” product can contain a masking fragrance that hides the smell of its other ingredients. We only call a piece fragrance-free when nothing scented is on its list.
Yes. Lavender, citrus and other essential oils are added for scent, and they can irritate sensitive skin just as a synthetic fragrance can. We count them.
