How do I make Le Rouge last?
Start with smooth lips (a gentle scrub now and then helps), line with a lip pencil, apply, blot with a tissue and apply again. Glosses and stains wear lighter than lipstick and want topping up after meals.
Will the shade suit me?
For every day, choose a shade close to your own lip colour or a touch deeper; for evening, go two or three shades deeper. If you are between two, the one nearer your natural colour is the easier to wear.
Is Le Rouge cruelty-free — and is it vegan?
Cruelty-free, yes: nothing in the range is tested on animals, at any stage or by any party. Vegan, not in every shade: according to our lab's ingredient list, Le Rouge contains a synthetic wax rather than beeswax, but some shades may contain carmine. Most of the rest of the range is vegan.
