Privacy Policy

To fulfill your order and care for you as a client: your name, contact details, delivery address, and order history. If you join our list, leave a review or write to us: the email you give and what you send. We never sell any of it.

Visits to this site are counted without a cookie, as described under Vercel below.

If you choose Accept on the cookie notice, we also keep the note about where you came from, described under “How you found us”. If you choose Decline, it is not kept.

To process orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries, and — only with your consent — to send the occasional letter from the house. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

These companies process personal information for us, each for the purpose named:

• Shopify runs our checkout, takes payment, and keeps customer records: your orders, your account if you make one, and your email if you join our list or leave a review.
• Shopify Email sends our letters, only to people who asked to receive them.
• Vercel hosts this website and counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookie: it counts pages viewed and where visits came from, and does not recognise you from one day to the next.

None runs on this site today: no analytics or advertising tag loads, whether you accept cookies or not. If we add one, it will be named here, and it will load only after you choose Accept.

If you accept cookies, your browser keeps a short note of how you first reached the house and how you most recently did: the link’s campaign tag, the site you came from, the page you landed on, and, if the link came from an advertisement, its click reference. When you continue to checkout that note travels with your order to our checkout provider, Shopify, so we can learn which of our posts bring clients. Until you choose, it waits in this browser tab and goes nowhere. If you decline, nothing is kept, anything already noted is deleted, and your order carries only the fact that you declined.

Whatever you choose, this browser keeps what the site needs to work: your bag and a gift note you add to it, your favourites, the pieces you viewed recently, the country you are visiting from (kept only until you close the tab), whether you have already seen our invitation or joined the Circle, and your answer to the cookie notice.

If you choose Accept, it also keeps the note described under “How you found us”. No analytics or advertising cookie is set either way, because no such tool is switched on. To change your answer, clear this site’s data in your browser and the notice will ask again.

The companies named on this page store and process information on servers outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to that country’s laws, and its courts and authorities may be able to obtain it there. Quebec’s privacy law asks that you be told this when your information is collected, so we say it here.

Orders, and the name, address and payment record that go with them, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of sales.

Your consent to receive our letters, and the email it applies to, are kept until you withdraw it: use the unsubscribe link in any letter, or ask us as below. A review or a request you send us is kept while it is useful for answering you or for the page it belongs to, and deleted when you ask.
