No retinoids
36 pieces whose ingredient lists contain no retinoid: no retinol, no retinal, no retinyl esters such as retinyl palmitate, and no retinoic acid. The 4 that contain one are named below.
Many people avoid retinoids during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or simply don’t get on with them. A list without retinoids answers one question, not every question: if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor about any product you use.

Questions
Yes. It is the mildest retinoid, a form of vitamin A that skin converts slowly, but it belongs to the family, so it isn’t on this page.
High doses of vitamin A and oral retinoid medicines are known to harm a developing baby. Far less reaches the body from skincare, but retinoids are generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding as a precaution. Your doctor is the right person to ask.
Peptides such as Matrixyl 3000 are the gentler route many people take. Le Collagène and L’Élixir use them, and neither contains a retinoid.
