For many people, yes — cleanser, moisturiser and daily sunscreen is a complete routine. Serums are how you target something specific, not a requirement.
Will it sit well under makeup?
Yes. Allow a minute to absorb before primer or foundation; that pause is what prevents pilling.
Is it right for oily or combination skin?
The texture is cushioning rather than heavy, and hydration is not the same as oil — skipping moisturiser often makes oily skin produce more. Apply a thinner layer where you tend to get shiny.
Is La Crème de Nuit cruelty-free — and is it vegan?
Cruelty-free, yes: nothing in the range is tested on animals, at any stage or by any party. Vegan, no: according to our lab's ingredient list, La Crème de Nuit contains beeswax. Most of the rest of the range is vegan.
