We searched every ingredient list we publish for parabens and found none. That makes 40 pieces, from serums and creams to foundation, mascara and lip scrubs. They are preserved in other ways, most often with phenoxyethanol.
What we count: any ingredient ending in -paraben: methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben and the rest. The search runs again every time the site is built, so a new list with a paraben would move its piece off this page. About phenoxyethanol.

Questions
Are parabens bad for you?
Regulators in the EU and the US consider the common parabens safe at the levels allowed in cosmetics, and the EU has banned a few less-studied ones. Many people still prefer to avoid them, which is why we say plainly that our lists contain none.
What replaces parabens as a preservative?
Most of our pieces use phenoxyethanol, often with caprylyl glycol. A few use sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate, and some use benzyl alcohol.
Is paraben-free the same as preservative-free?
No. Anything that contains water needs a preservative to stay safe to use. Paraben-free means a different preservative was chosen.
