What Le Réparateur will not do
- Fade a scar. That is a medical question, and an oil is not the answer to it.
- Replace sunscreen. Sun is most of visible ageing, and we do not make an SPF — buy one you will actually wear.
- Work overnight. Skin moves at its own pace, and anything sold on a faster one is selling the promise.
Buy something else if
- Fragrance bothers your skin. This one is scented — the fragrance-free pieces are collected on /fragrance-free.
- You need it this week. Nothing is made until you order it: two to four business days to make, then the lab's weekly dispatch — up to seven business days before it even ships. The first time the lab makes a piece for us it can take up to two weeks longer.

Who is Le Réparateur best for?
Dry, tight skin after weather, travel or a demanding routine. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and the oils cushion, which makes it a good counterweight to something strong. It contains lavender oil, so patch test first if your skin is reactive.
Can I use it alongside retinol or acids?
Yes — it is often used precisely to keep a more demanding routine comfortable. Apply it after your active has absorbed, or on the nights in between.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is a blend of plant oils with lavender flower oil, which some sensitive skins react to. Patch test on the inner forearm for twenty-four hours first if your skin reacts easily.
Is Le Réparateur cruelty-free — and is it vegan?
Cruelty-free and vegan: nothing in the range is tested on animals, at any stage or by any party, and nothing in Le Réparateur is animal-derived, going by what its maker publishes.
