Why it’s in a formula

Curcumin is an antioxidant, and turmeric is used in masks and balms for its soothing, glow-giving reputation. As a powder it also tints a formula gold.

In quantity, turmeric can leave a faint yellow tint on skin and fabric. It is temporary, and your usual cleanser removes it.

Does turmeric stain skin?

Pure turmeric can leave a temporary yellow tint. In a formula it is one ingredient among many, and any tint washes off.
