'Clean' has been said so often it now means almost nothing. So let us be specific. Every Divina formula is cruelty-free without exception — nothing is ever tested on animals. The overwhelming majority are vegan as well; a small number of colour cosmetics use beeswax as a base, and we say so rather than hide it. Specificity is the whole point.
It also rules out the easy fillers — needless dyes, harsh sulphates that strip the barrier, and heavy fragrance that reads as 'fresh' but provokes sensitive skin. Le Purifiant cleanses with an enriched, cushioned foam rather than the harsh agents that leave skin tight.
Made in North America, in considered batches, because provenance is part of the product, not a slogan. We would rather tell you what is in a formula than decorate the label with what is not.
Vegan, for us, was never the headline. It was simply the better way to compose. The skin can tell the difference; in time, so can you.
We did not leave things out for marketing. We left them out because the formula was better without them.
